We invite scholars, researchers and professionals in the fields of Archaeology, History and Art to submit original research contributions for the next issue of Traces in Time.
Submission guidelines
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished works and must not be under consideration by another journal at the time of submission.
Articles must not exceed 40,000 characters, including spaces, including the title, abstract, notes and bibliographical references.
All manuscripts must be formatted in accordance with the journal’s Editorial Guidelines, available on our website under For Authors > Editorial Guidelines.
Articles may be submitted in Italian or English and must include an abstract in a language other than that of the article. The abstract may be written in Italian, English, French, German or Spanish.
Peer review process
All submissions will undergo an anonymous peer-review process to ensure the scientific quality of the journal’s publications. Authors will receive detailed feedback from the Editorial Board following the review of their manuscript.

The deadline for article submissions is 31 October of each year.

Traces in Time is an open-access journal of Archaeology, History and Art, recognized by ANVUR (Area 10) and published by the social promotion association D’Altra Parte. It publishes scholarly and outreach articles on material culture, anthropology and multidisciplinary approaches, subject to peer review.
