Traces in Time is an international open-access journal of Archaeology, History and Art, included by ANVUR in the list of scientific journals for Area 10 (ISSN 2038-7709). Founded in 2011 by the Archaeological Traces Project Group (ATPG), it is currently published by D’Altra Parte, a Social Promotion Association and Third Sector Entity (ETS).

The journal is addressed to scholars, academic and independent researchers, and is supported by an editorial board and an international scientific committee. It publishes both scholarly and outreach articles, with particular attention to material culture, anthropological perspectives, and multidisciplinary approaches. Submitted contributions undergo peer review by recognized scholars with expertise in the relevant disciplinary fields.

All articles published in the journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing the free sharing and reuse of published content.
