Traces in Time closes 2025: a review of a year of publications
With the publication of Issue 13 (2025), the 2025 editorial year of Traces in Time officially comes to a close. This provides an opportunity to look back at the contributions published over the year and to reflect on the journal’s scientific and cultural development.
Throughout 2025, Traces in Time continued to serve as a forum for discussion and dissemination in archaeological and historical research, publishing original studies and in-depth contributions ranging from prehistory to the Middle Ages, with particular attention to Mediterranean and local contexts.
Issue 13 features three scholarly articles, reflecting the variety of approaches and topics that characterise the journal’s editorial scope:

Looking Ahead

The year 2026 is already opening up new editorial perspectives, together with a renewed commitment to providing an open platform for sharing scientific results and methodological reflections.
